ROCK CHALLENGE STORY

I've been involved since 1998. I was a performer for two years and took on the role of Liaison Teacher for three years.

I volunteered in 2002 and 2003, when I saw an advert for "Production Assistant." I applied and ... got it! I started as Production Assistant in July that year, and now I've risen to the giddy heights of Event Manager !!

I love Rock Challenge and seeing how it can benefit young people, especially those who don’t normally partake in extra curricular activities. In the future I hope to see many, many more schools involved and some TV coverage.

I would also like to see the return of some major National sponsors ... and a "Pastas of the World" themed performance :))

OTHER PERFORMING-ARTS PROJECTS YOU ARE INVOLVED IN

• None, other than plotting future Rock Challenge performances for when I get into teaching.

HOBBIES

• Watching films. Socialising. Spending money on my niece. Photography. Travelling. Maths, and watching RCUK FC.

MUSIC
Likes:

• Punk, Ska, Rock, Pop, Classical. You name it - I’ll probably like it.

• Reggae, Westlife - and most of Dave’s CD collection.

• Spanish. And desserts (lots of them!)

• Crunchy veg, spicy food.

• American sitcoms (especially "Friends") Rock Challenge videos. I like watching most types of films.

• Westerns ... and soap operas.
