THEMES
COURT MOOR SCHOOL "Lights! Camera! Action!!" The life of an actor is never dull. Our main character is struggling to find his way in a thespian world. His inability to fit into different genres causes frustration until he is unexpectedly thrust into the limelight. HIGHCLIFFE LOWER SCHOOL "Never Over" In society where we are all overstressed and overworked, here is the perfect antidote - it's party time, so let's dance!. Our piece is about the Rock Challenge Experience - let it never be over !!! KING RICHARD SCHOOL TEAM 1 "Mount Olympus" Mount Olympus, home of the gods of Ancient Greece. Join us as brave Hercules battles to save the world from evil, with a little help (and some distractions) from his gods. PARK COMMUNITY SCHOOL "BOO!" Something spooky's going on around here, the Mystery Machine goes. RACHEL MADDOCKS SCHOOL "Planet Pollution" The far-reaching effects of pollution, a sunny beach, people at play, tropical clear waters, irridescent fish, brooding sharks, ethereal jellyfish. A chemical spill, the sea cannot sustain life, the beaches are barren, deserted. A lone beachcomber remains.... RYDE SCHOOL "Kiss of the Vampire" Allow us to take you on a tour of the supernatural world. A story unfolds, exploring the idea of love, a hierarchy and the interesting ides of human and supernatural worlds combining together. ST LUKE'S SECONDARY SCHOOL "Land of Make Believe" Children's minds run free in the land of make believe, where magic and dreams come true and mystery and fear excite. Listen to our story ... watch the pages come alive. Allow yourself to dream ... let out the child within you. ST SAMPSONS SECONDARY SCHOOL "Karibu Masika" The sun rises over an African waterhole, the creatures awake, but during the day the water dries up and the creatures fight. The rainmaker brings the animals together as a storm breaks and everyone celebrates to welcome the rainy season. SANDOWN HIGH SCHOOL "The Power Inside" To an old-fashioned tale, we added twists of our own so the outcome to all of us is completely unknown. The young girl, her future in her hands she holds so sit back and relax as her story unfolds. STONAR SCHOOL "Rags to Riches" We at Stonar have choreographed this dance as we are very aware of the suffering that money can bring to people. Poverty as well as health is a huge issue in today's culture. We are trying to bring the message across that money is not everything. |
