Bridlington School "Woman" Starting with Emily Pankhurst and the Suffragettes, moving through the 60s - and women's lib - to the house husbands of the 20th Century. We have the developing woman, but without partnership, love and commitment life would not be the same without men! Cottingham High School "Why Don't We Learn to Connect ?" Modern technology hives us the means to communicate more easily. The world is a smaller place, but does our universal culture alllow for diversity ? Dance is a universal language - can it help us find a balance between IT and interpersonal skills ? Hornsea School "Behind the Mask" Do you ever say one thing and think another? Do you ever judge others by their appearance and make the wrong assumption ? Do your ever question the impression you are making ? What lies behind your mask ... who is the real you ? Howden School "A Celebration of American Culture" Aspects of American lifestyles are depicted through the eyes of the camera. Featuring the era of romance, organised crime, the Wild West and American football supported by the cheerleaders. Whatever their role, the symbol of liberty keeps them as United States. Longcroft School & Performing Arts College "Joan of Arc" This shows Joan of Arc's struggle to conquer the English, with friends, family and her lover fighting for their country. She wins the battle, but then dies at the hands of fanatics who portray her as a witch. Withernsea High School & Technology College "Skin Deep" The music and dance styles we like, and the clothes we wear, help to create our identity. Often we choose friends who are most like us, but under the surface the differences between are only skin deep. |
