BARNWELL BUSINESS AND ENTERPRISE SCHOOL, Stevenage, Hertfordshire: "Lick the Lid of Life "
The inspiration for our piece came from Chiltern Radio: "there is more culture in a pot of yoghurt than there is in Stevenage". However, if you look closely you will see that culture is bursting out of our community ! Earlier this month one of our company, Shannon Shaw, died from an asthma attack. This performance is dedicated to her memory.

DENBIGH SCHOOL, Milton Keynes: "A Change is Gonna Happen"
One man can dream, mankind can act. Intolerance breeds hatred, which in turn breeds fear. Purity of movement requires purity of thought. Understanding can force prejudice of all forms underground if all believe. Generations, races, genders can become equal if society’s machine is challenged. It is then that we can all move onwards and upwards together.
HEMEL HEMPSTEAD SECONDARY SCHOOL, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (premier showcase): "Labelled" We all want the latest high fashion brands at the cheapest prices but do we ever consider where it comes from? "Labelled" considers the issues surrounding child labour, exploring the exploitation of young people and our ignorance of where our fashion comes from. Do you want to be 'Labelled' with this guilt or stand out and be an individual?
HERTSWOOD SCHOOL, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire: "Emission Mission" Have you ever thought about what will happen to earth if we continue to abuse our environment in this way? HINCHINGBROOKE SCHOOL, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire: "Human Factory"
Like a Human Factory are we created to fulfil certain roles and positions? This dance looks at the frustrations and comforts of routine. Knowing what you will do every day can be reassuring, but what happens when this becomes a restraint? And do we underestimate the role we play in society? Surely every little cog matters ...

MARTINDALE PRIMARY SCHOOL, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire: "Turf War - Global Harmony"
There is only one dance floor, and all three styles want it for their own! Rockers, hip-hoppers and pop dancers all want to dominate the stage. One by one they push each other out. It all becomes too tense as they battle / dance each other to the ground. Who will be victorious? After the dust has settled, one by one they realise how to dance together, many styles to one rhythm!
MICKLEM PRIMARY SCHOOL, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire: "Danger Lurks Under The Sea" Under the sea everything is calm as the sea animals live in harmony, swimming and playing without a care in the world. However, when a tanker passes through and leaks vast amounts of oil and rubbish, their existence is threattened. The animals will have to pull together to clear up the ocean and restore oeace in the sea once more.
SANDRINGHAM SCHOOL, St Albans, Hertfordshire: "Never Judge a Comic Book by its Cover" We all automatically make judgements, how someone looks, the clothes they wear, the group they socialise with. We categorise them: chav, goth and so on. Is this fair? Can we really know what a person is like from their stereotype?
